1931 Ford Model A hot rod Description: 1931 Ford Model A roadster street rod. All Ford steel body is finished in Satin black with a red interior. Powered by 1970, 390 Ford FE big block (does not use oil). The heads are from a 427 Ford and were rebuilt 3 years ago by a person who rebuilds sprint car engines. It has a high performance cam, Edelbrock Performer intake and the 3x2 bbl. carbs are Rochester 2G's. The headers are Ford 428. It has a FMX automatic (3 speed) with a shift kit and a Lokar shifter with "Eight Ball" knob. The rear end is a 1977 Cougar 9" with a 3.78:1 ratio. It also has a 2200 - 2800 stall speed torque converter which eliminates the "jerk" when shifting from "neutral" to "drive". The suspension is: front = leaf springs and coil-overs and the rear = adjustable coil-overs. The brakes are 1948 Ford hydraulic. <P> Financing and shipping available.
